Applicants do not collect the visa medical report in person. After the examination at a Dubai Health Authority (DHA)–approved facility, the results are ready within about 30 minutes and sent electronically to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) for visa processing. These centres use advanced systems to complete the examination within 10–30 minutes, with results ready in about 30 minutes and sent electronically to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). EGSH works with Smart Salem centres to arrange priority appointments, ensure correct documentation, and streamline this mandatory stage of the visa process.

If an applicant does not pass the Dubai visa medical test, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) will not issue a medical fitness certificate, and the residence visa application cannot proceed. The DHA will notify the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), which may refuse the visa and require the applicant to leave the UAE in accordance with immigration regulations.
