Real Estate Registration Trustee Offices handle transactional services that involve changes in legal ownership or encumbrances. These include property sale registration, ownership transfers, title deed issuance, mortgage registration and release, gift registration, grant registration, Oqood registration, and escrow account procedures.
Real Estate Services Trustee Offices handle non-transactional procedures — property valuation, title deed amendments, Ejari (tenancy contract) registration and cancellation, map issuance, ownership detail updates, and official certificate requests.

Article 14 of Law No. 8 of 2007 requires the escrow agent to retain 5% of the total escrow amount for one year after project completion.
